Andrew Duffus Mowatt was relatively famous in Spanish Town which is where the Mowatts 'originated from'. (there are a separate set of Mowatts from St James) There is a bust of him on Brunswick Ave, he was the founder of the Jamaica Burial Scheme Society (JBBS) in Jamaica. I know I have heard my father mention Herman Mowatt but I can't remember what relationship he had to the family. Does the name Cyril and Maud Mowatt bear any significance to you?
