I'm the daughter of William Eugene Ogletree (deceased) and Phyllis Hyink (deceased) of Mountain View, California. Grandparents were Gertrude B. Ogletree of San Francisco, CA (Grandfather's name unknown as he was murdered by a mad woman on a train), Reverend Hyink and Anna Hyink of Watertown, SD. That's all for now.

My oldest known Ogletree ancestor was a William Ogletree. His son John Sr., was my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. John Sr. was born abt 1735-40 in Hanover Co., GA.

I too am decended from John Sr.,then Littleton,Ashbury F.,James Redmond,Thomas Edwin Sr. and my father Thomas Edwin Jr. Where do you fit in?

I am a descendant of Thomas Ogletree, Sr. who, I believe, was the brother of the John Ogletree, Sr. born in Hanover, Virginia that Carolyn mentions in her message. Two books give a great deal of information on John, Sr.

We, my daughter, Katrina, and I, are trying to find the father of Thomas, Sr. How did you determine that William is the father of John, Sr.? We believe that this William would also be the father of our ancestor, Thomas, Sr.

the early 1800's, county unknown. Some of

Asbury C. Ogletree was the son of Thomas Ogletree, Jr. according to K.C. Ptomey's book. He was married to Malissa Favilia Monday according to the Monday family bible. They had 7 children. My grand father, Robert James Ogletree was their son. He was born in Carroll county, MS 2/24/1841. Then moved to Kennedale, Tarrant Co., TX as an adult. Please let me know if this fits into any of your information.
