Are you referring to the very republican Westbrook Pegler who wrote for a nationwide syndicate during the 1940's? I'm wondering if there are two Westbrook Peglers. My great uncle is the columnist Westbrook Pegler who wrote the controversial articles during the 40's and 50's and although his father Arthur immigrated to the US from the UK, Westbrook was born in Minneapolis.
My father is Westbrook Pegler II and I have a cousin Westbrook Pegler III.
I don't know of a Beatrice Pegler in the United States. Westbrook married Julia and they never had any children their. Westbrook only had one brother (my grandfather Jack) and one sister (my great aunt Francis) who never had any children of her own.
Having said that, Jack had two children. One was my father Westbrook II (who nick named himself Bill) and the other was my uncle Arthur (who we called Bud).
Bud's six children (my first cousins) are: Tina, Suzanne, John, Billy, Captain, and Westbrook II. I don't know the names of all of my cousins kids but shouldn't have too much difficulty finding out if you need to know.
I have two sisters (Laura and Sabra) and no brothers. None of us have had any children yet, but I for one am working on it :)
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
