James E. Pearson is listed in the 1880 census, Brooklyn, NY and was a lawyer. He stated that he was 30 years old and was born in NY. By 1889, the Brooklyn City Directories state that he was a lawyer at 213 Montague St., Brooklyn and living in Hempstead, Long Island, NY. He had two known children, Edith, b. 1887 and Caroline, b. 1879. Would like to obtain further information about him and contact any descendants. He may be buried in Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead, NY
