Classification: Query
Surnames: Pinney, Adams, Moore
The simple answer is, no, the Abigail PINNEY born in 1654 was not the wife of John MOORE.

According to many secondary sources: Abigail PINNEY, born 26 Nov 1654 at Windsor, Connecticut, daughter of Humphrey PINNEY and Mary (HULL) PINNEY, married 6 (or 23) Dec 1677 in Windsor, Connecticut to John ADAMS, born 16 Oct 1645 at Watertown, Massachusetts. I do not have a date of death for Abigail (PINNEY) ADAMS, but she died sometime after the birth of her third child. John ADAMS died 22 Nov 1732 in Colchester, Connecticut.

You might also try locating a copy of the book GENEALOGY OF THE PINNEY FAMILY IN AMERICA by Laura Ann Young Pinney (Harr Wagner Pub. Co, 1924). Your local library might have a copy, or you might "Google" the title to see what comes up.

Information contained in Robert Charles Anderson, THE GREAT MIGRATION BEGINS; IMMIGRANTS TO NEW ENGLAND, 1620 - 1633 (Boston, 1995) and sources cited therein, pages 1276-1280: two men named John Moore came to New England. No daughter named Priscilla is given for either man, though both had daughters named Abigail.
