Berry Roberts--ggggrandfather b. 1802 Chester Distric S.C. parents unknown. Married Sallie Lyle early 1830's. In late 1830's most of the Roberts & Lyles moved from S.C. settleting in Scoba, an finaly in Erondale MS. A lot of old Roberts Headstones there. Roberts still in MS. & Al.

Am trying to get any info on Isaac Roberts Sr. and his first wife Elizabeth Alexander. They had a son,Axiom,b.1781 in S.C. He was married to Nancy(Indian)Chatham.They moved to southern Ms.Any infomation will be appreciated.Will share any info I have on this Roberts line.

Could this have any connection with Reese(?)Roberts. Most of my family came from SC to Ms and am looking for my gggrndmother's family. Her name was Mary Dallas Roberts and would have been born around 1873. She married Dalton Grubbs also from SC then moved to Union Co, Ms. Please respond to LCollBrown@hotmail.com. My Roberts departed SC late 1830's or 1840. Not all Roberts's left at that time they were with the Lyles.There was a Mary roberts 1st b. of Berry & Sallie "Lyle" Roberts. b. in MS.1843. m. William Harrington Buried Mt. Hebron cemetery, Kemper Countyy died 1869.
