Ada Roman Born January 27, 1927, passed away suddenly Thursday, Aug 6. Beloved wife to Jesus Roman for 55 years; mother to Carlos, Ada Jane and Marisa; mother in-law to Lucinda Roman and Henry Borja; grandma to Vanessa, Vidal, Tony, Robert and Marcus; daughter to Ana Perez; and loved by countless other family members and friends. Ada taught for over 30 years as an elementary school teacher at All Souls, Mater Dolorosa and St. Peters Elementary School. Sister of Mercy associate. A native of Puerto Rico, she came to California in 1944 to attend college at UC Berkley and San Jose State University. Ada was a devout catholic, an exceptional cook, and always welcomed everyone to her home with open arms and made sure no one left her home hungry. She will be missed by all. We will be celebrating her life at her Funeral Services on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So.
