My name is Yolanda Valentin Maisonet and I
too am from New York City (live in Alabama
since 1972). I also graduated from Music and
Art (I was there 68-72). And...
I am doing research on my Rosario ancestry.
My Rosarios come from Ciales, Morovis and
some other areas which I can't recall at the
moment. My great-grandfather was Facundo
Rosario (don't know his second last name) from
what my grandmother told me (before she died)
he was supposed to be of indian decent. What
Indian I do not know. Her mother was Conrrada
Acevedo Rosa(grandmother said her family was
from Spain. Does any of this sound familar?
I am going to be in Puerto Rico next week for
11 days and plan on doing some research while
I'm there, any suggestions? Hope to hear from

My Father was Luis Rosario and he was was born in Morovis to Clemente Rosario and Maria Otero. they had seven or eight kids. Two of the children were born blind. If this is a connection please write back
