I have very little information about my father's family. I know that my great-grandfather, Henry Schmidt, was born in St. Louis in 1909. His father and mother were elizabeth eavers and julius schmidt, who were both born in Germany. Thanks for any info you can provide!

Thanks for the help, Tammy. This Henry Schmidt was born on January 23 in S. Louis. He died in September of 1966, I believe. He married Elsie McDaniel. They had four children--James, Joyce, Henry, and Robert.

how ironic. my henry married opal dillard of greenup,ill.he recently passed away . he was 90.for a moment we thought he had children we werent aware of. thanks for your help. sincerely tammy

I have a Julius Schmidt, born in Germany, July 8, 1868, and later married to Elizabeth Evers, born 1872. Their daughter, Bertha Agnes Schmidt, born April 14, 1904, in Verona Missouri, was my grandmother.

Any idea if this is the same Julius Schmidt? Do you know of other children they may have had? Do you have more detail about Julius and/or Elizabeth?
