Hi Patty,
My Aunt married Vito Sciacca. He is now 81. He is descended from Liborio Sciacca from Lawrence, Mass. I found Liborio sailed from Palermo and arrived in Boston 1914. Liborio's mother was Rosa Tripoli. Liborio had the following children with wife Josephine. Rose born 1920, Victor (Vito) born 1924. Do you hve any information you would like to share?
Thanks
Mike Jones

I have just dicovered Rootsweb again and have just seen your message. I am Dennis Sciacaluga fron Gibraltar. I have traced Sciacaluga to 1753 when the first Sciacaluga came fron Genoa. Bartolome Sciacaluga, born 1732 from Sestri de Poniente, Genoa. married to Camilla Opiso(B.1737)Their son Fortunato married Rosa Bosco on 13.10.1800 from Pegli, Genoa.

I would like to have data on family trees of Sciacaluga or Sciaccaluga in Genoa at this time.

I have the direct line ancestry data back to Genoa. I have to organise better and will let you have it.

Dennis

Hi, I haven't checked this site in a long time. Yes, I'm still looking for family information. I'm looking into traveling to Roccamonfina next summer.

Bonjour,
