I hope someone can help me. I can't find parents for my great-grandmother Mary Jane Searcy. She was born May 1820 maybe in Kentucky. She married James Madison Armstrong on 19 Oct. 1837 in Madison Co. Kentucky. Consent was given by her mother Sarah ??Farrusster?? & Wyatte Parker. Witness' were Robert C. Parker & James Parker. So my thinking is her father is dead & mother has remarried with her maiden name possibly being Parker. I'm sure she must belong to the Searcy's in the area but can find no mention of her in any wills,deeds,death records.Nor a Sarah Parker marrying a Searcy. I really hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you.
