Shuarts in Michigan

I am researching the Shuart side of my family. John Warner Shuart (1807 - 1868) ended up in Superior Township in Washtenaw County, MI. He married Laura Townsend and they had 9 children - Charles, Martha, George, Caroline, Ransom, Freeman, Ursula, Edmund, and Worthy. Caroline married Charles McCormick and moved to Bedford Township, Calhoun County to raise her family. I have a photo taken in 1920, labled the Crandall-Shuart Reunion. I can identify many of the Crandalls and Worthy Shuart. I would like to hear from others that may be able to help identify the rest.
Thanks!

Hi Dena
I emailed you awhile back when I was first looking into my Shuart heritage. Since then I have heard from two other Shuart family members. I have a complete history of the Shuart line going back to 1663. If you are interested please email me back. I also have a picture of Laura Townsend Shuart. Thanks

I am interested in any information you have on Shuarts in Michigan. I was initially researching my grandfather's family and discovered a marriage between Ethel V. (don't know her maiden name) b. 1888 in Pennsylvania and a Frank Shuart b. 1888 in Pennsylvania, but who was listed as Frank Thrush on the 1910 & 1920 Census for Wise Township, Isabella County, Michigan. Then in the 1930 Census for Gilmore Township, Isabella County, Michigan, Ethel V. is listed as being married to Benjamin Franklin Thrush b. Aug. 17, 1882 in Illinois.
Ethel V. & Frank Shuart had Sidney A. Shuart b. 1907, Lester R. Shuart b. 1911, Vernon E. b. 1913, and Harold F. b. 1914.
Ethel V. & Benjamin Franklin Thrush had Alfred W. Thrush b. Sept. 20, 1920, d. June 24, 1950, Roy W. Thrush b. 1924, and Leon P. Thrush b. 1927. Any information that you think might be helpful would be greatly appreciated. You can e-mail me at mwarnken@cox.net.

I would have to send it by mail since that is how I got it and don't have it in my computer. I am a descendant of the Shuarts from Dixboro MI. The paperwork starts with Sjourt Olphertsen from the Netherlands in 1635. Let me know your address if you are still interested and how you are related.
