In the 1880, District 3, Leslie County, Kentucky Census, there are three SIZEMORE children living in the household of Mary ROARK and listed as OTHER. Russell SIZEMORE 15, Adeline SIZEMORE 9 and Arrus SIZEMORE 1. It seems that this is the household of James ROARK and Mary ASHER, of course James was already deseaced at this time (1880) and Mary is listed as a widow: ROARK, Mary 45, widow - Sons, Millard 23, Boone 19, Hanson 17 and James 13 - Daughters, Elizabeth 12, Martha 9 and Emly 6. I believe that there is a distinct possibility that this Adeline SIZEMORE is my wifes g-grandmother that married David "Dave" SCALF in 1893 in Leslie County, Ky.. I'm wondering why were these SIZMORE children were living in this ROARK home and who did they actually belong to and what relationship, if any, did they have to this particular ROARK family. It's also my understanding that a few of the ROARK children of this particular family later married into the SIZEMORE family.
