Looking for any information for Mary Springer, born in Pennsylvania aprox. 1840. She married Robert Smith from Ireland and had one daughter I know of named Minnie Olive Smith born February 2, 1859 in Pennsylvania, died February 11, 1918. Minnie married James C. Snow about 1876 probably Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.

Minnie was my grandmothers grandma. Grandma was placed in an orphan home at a young age and never knew her family until she found her father in her early 30's. She was told the infamous (Spring Hoax) story of the Springer riches with ties to the Dupont families in Wilmington, Delaware and always believed her grandmother was an heiress.
