I AM a Sylvester of Lincolnshire, or at least I was before I got married. I can get nowhere on my father's family tree because I cannot trace his paternal grandmother. She gave birth to my grandfather Harold in Louth workhouse in 1899 and is described as Annie Sylvester, domestic servant of Ludford. Can anyone kick start me?
