Tuenge generation in Germany

Classification: Query
Surnames: Tuenge, Tunge, Tinge Schroeder Bethke Polzin Hoeppner Scharpen
I'm trying to find out more about the specific area and generations prior to our immigration generation of Tuenges. My ancestor Tuenges were from Pommern area I think. I do not have specific details of other siblings, relation in Germany or others that may have immigrated to other parts of the county. I'd be interested in any information on Tuenge in Germany or immigration info of others maybe related. Sometimes it was spelled in English also as Tunge, Tinge etc. In German it's TUNGE with the two dots over the "u". The earliest ancestor I know is August Tuenge who settled in Minnesota about 1890 and was married to Wilhelmine "Augusta" Schroeder Tuenge in Germany. He died in Nicollet County MN in 1900 and is buried in rural lutheran cemtery between West Newton and Fairfax, and she died some years later in Sandstone, MN area. They had children Augusta (Polzin, Korth), Albertina (Hoeppner), Henry (Frederich), Bertha (Scharpen), Albert, Richard, Mary (Bethke) and adopted son Emil. My grandmother I thought had mentioned they had relatives in Nebraska many years ago but I don't know if the two branches of Tuenge's are related or how.
