Now I know the correct spelling of our UPTEGRAFT's, I am able to relay info on our family through LDS info...It stops or starts with Isaac UPTEGFAFT born in 1816 in Ohio. Married Susannah (Friend) Aug l849. She was born Aug l816 in Well Co., Ind. Her parents were George Friend Jr and Barbara Grubaugh. Have lots of info on these two. Anyway, Isaac and wife had my gggrandfather William Uptegraft born 10 Apr l847 in Randolph Co., Ind. Married Emeline Alberson on 12 Jan l868 in Ind. Their children were Cora Florence, John, Olive, Almira, George, and Ella Frances Uptegrafts...Isaac next child was Thomas Uptegraft born on 23 Apr. l836 in Richland Co., Ohio on 23 Arp l836 and married Elizabeth Boswell on 22 Nov l855 in Richland Co., Ohio. Died 21 Nov l899 in Richland Co., Ohio. George Uptegraft was born 7 May, l838 in Richland Co.,Ohio and died 31 Jan l934. His wife was Mary Adeline Harper and they were married Nov l858 in Randolph Co., Indiana..Isaac next child was Olive Uptegraft born l841 in Richland, Ohio and the last child was David Uptegraft born abt 1844 in Randolph Co, Ind. Do not know why this family moved so much between Ind. and Ohio. Isaac ended up dead in Randolph Co., Indiana in Aug. l849 of the ripe old age of 33, and leaving poor old Susannah with five children. Wife Susannah died Nov 9, l895 in Wells Co., Indiana. Do not know where they are buried. This is the only info I have on the Uptegraft families..Followed by gggrandfather William to present if you want info on his line. William married Emeline Albeson, had six children, one my ggrandmother who married William Bishop and had three daughters, one being my grandmother Irene Garnet Bishop Hauck...Hope this was not too confusing..
