I have the del Valle family in my genealogy, Peón del Valle. I don't have a lot of info on this line but I am hoping to go to Asturias in a couple of months and will check this family out. The del Valle family in my line was in Cuba and Mérida, Yucatan. My grandfather and great grandfather were both named Enrique de Peón del Valle and my great grandfather was a bookkeeper in Havana. What do you know?

I am a descendant of the Spanish del Valle lineage via Cuba. My direct ancestor (my great-great-great-great-great grandmother ) was Barbara del Valle y de Rosas. Barbara del Valle y de Rosas arrived in Louisiana (in New Orleans and at Terre-aux-Boeufs, St. Bernard Parish) around 1770 with her husband, Don Manual Solis. The couple apparently arrived from Santiago de Cuba with the early Spanish sent to Louisiana to take over the colony from France.

I am interested in any additional information about the del Valle lineage, especially in Cuba.

Here is some general information I have found about the del Valle surname.

[TRANSLATION] : Castilian. Of the mountains of Satander, extended by all the peninsula. It tested repeated vecos its nobility in the orders of Santiago, Calatrava and Alcártara and in those of Carlos III (1803 and 1815) and San Juan of Jersusalén (1559, 1665, and 1710) and in the Real Hearing of Oviedo and Real Chacilleria of Valladolid. [747 – Nobiliario Español, Diccionario de Apellidos]

Cuba: Arboles Genealogicos de la Cuba: An expensive ($23) thin 43 page book (every other page is blank) showing partial family tree diagrams of the following Cuban surnames and their connection to the Bourbon Royal House of Spain. In most cases only one individual is shown for a given surname. … “Del Valle.”

Coat of Arms: Armas. En campo de oro, un noble de sinople y un lobo de sable, pasante, al pie de tronco, bordura de plata, con ocho cabezas de águila, de sable chorreando sancre [TRANSLATION] Arms: In a field of gold, an oak tree of sinople and a wolf of sable, pasante, to the foot of the trunk, bondura of silver. With eight heads of eagle, of sable, spouting sancre. [747 – Nobiliario Español, Diccionario de Apellidos]

Hi, I have one relative with the second last name of Valle. I would very much like to learn more about his connection to the Valle family. His name was Ramon Tirador Valle. I know
very little else about him other than that he was born in the late 1800's, was from Ribadesella, Asturias, Spain, married his wife Maria, and moved to Cuba.
