Manuel's and Maria's eldest son, Manuel Anjel Valle, is my father. I am his eldest child. We are Linda, Michael, Janis, and Ruth. There was an eighth child of Manuel and Maria named Jouquin. He is my godfather. Chewy is actually Jesus. Butch is Luis. Chappy is Chepe. I was flowergirl in my aunt Nena's wedding but I can't remember ever hearing or knowing her given name. Shame on me.
Chela, did you live in El Paso? And Marta were you married around 1958 or '60 in El Paso? And wasn't there a Tio Nayo in Juarez?

My sister, Ruth has done a good bit of genealogy on our mother's side, but I don't know how much she has on the Valle side. I guess we could ask.

I was stunned when I saw your posting on my first inquiry into the Valle history.

Please respond. This is amazing. Vaya con Dios. Linda

Linda,
I talked with my mom (Chela) Mary and she knows who you are. She says that you father is her cousin. Eugenia is your aunt Nana's name. We have another relative who has gotten in touch, she would be your cousin by your aunt Lupe, a distant cousin to me. Hanna Carlson Wolf. Tio Nayo would be Tio Senado. I have meet your mom, a few years ago when she came for a family reunion. Please email me.

Linda, My name is Alice Braddy Davis (my mother's maiden name, as well as my married name). I have a "birthday" book that belonged to my great aunt Florine (Davis) Scarborough. She received it from a Mrs. S.F.Davis, Christmas 1944. Aunt Florine was my grandfather John James Furman Davis sister. In this book is listed a Stanley Davis, Feb.2(no year), Aunt Jennie (Mrs. Forbes), Feb.4, Linda Valle, April 20, 1944 Janalynn's baby (I would assume this to be you)!, Mrs. S.F.Davis, July 5. I found your grandparents, Stanley and Aletha Davis in the Erath county Texas census for 1930, along with Stanley F.Davis Jr., Robert J. Davis, Janalynn Davis, and Jennie Forbes. (listed as an aunt-in-law). I guess my burning question is how these Davis are connected with my Davis line from Stephenville, Erath, Texas. I had a great grandfather, Thomas Lloyd Davis, wife Ruby (Hollingsworth)Davis, daughter Pauline Davis, son Collis Davis, son John James Furman Davis and daughter Florine Davis that were in Stephenville from approx.1910 to at least 1929 (Thomas Lloyd died there in 1929). If you can shed some light on this mystery I would appreciate it. There are other names in this book, if you are interested. Thanks, Alice Braddy Davis
Elmendorf, Texas

Hi Linda,

I'm now on Ancestry.com. How are you? I have actually put together a family tree and would love to have you send me your family's information. I do not have any birthdates for your mom and dad or any of you. Marriage dates, names of your children and their birthdates. I've been talking with Richie, Uncle Chuy's son and Aunt Nikki and Uncle Butch trying to gather all of their information as well. Let me know if you would be interested in helping on the Valle line. Take care and much love, Hanna

Hi,

I was wondering if Manuel Valle is from or was from Mexico D.F? I never met my biological father, I only know his name so I was wondering if there might be a match?
