I am searching for siblings and parents of Samuel Louis (Lewis)Vance, my grandfather, born in Richland Co Ohio in 1840. He married Viola Susan Mills and died in Mo, in 1911. Any ties to your Vance?

I have information on a Michael Vance that married a Rebecca Mills. She was fron New Jersey. They lived in Montgomery Co. Ohio before moving to Darke Co. Ohio after 1850. They had a son George and Harrison and the youngest was James. George moved to Kosciusko Co. between 1850-1857 and James was found in the 1870 census of Darke Co. Is this the same family?

I would be most interested in who your William Vance's father was that lived in Fayette Co, PA. Do you know the township and when they first arrived? My g-g-g-grandfather William Vance (Sr) lived in Fayette County in 1800, possibly earlier. There was another William Vance and his brother Ezekiel Vance living in Menallen Twp prior to 1800. A third William Vance may have been the son of Samuel Vance in Tyrone Twp, also about 1800.
