My GGrandfather, Daniel Benson had a brother David Benson married to Lucretia Vance in Guernsey Co., Oh. I have some information on David Benson's family.

DAVID FRANCIS BENSON AND LUCRETIA VANCE WERE MY WIFES' GREATGRANDPARENTS. LUCRETIA WAS THE 12th CHILD OF ROBERT VANCE. DAVID'S PARENTS WERE WILLIAM BENSON AND CLARISSA....
BALL???. WILLIAM AND CLARISSA'S CHILDREN WERE.... JOHN, DANIEL, ANDREW J., WILLIAM, GEORGE, VETCHEL(VACHEL???). ELIZABETH, DOROTHY ANN, AND DAVID FRANCIS.
HAVE NO INFO ON ANY OF THE FAMILY EXCEPT FOR DAVID BENSON AND LUCRETIA. OVER A THOUSAND NAMES AND DECENDANTS SO FAR FROM THIS COUPLE.
CHILDREN OF DAVID AND LUCRETIA WERE, ELIZABETH ANN BELLE, CLARISSA, WILLIAM ROBERT(WHO WAS MY WIFES'GRANDFATHER),JOHN WESLEY, MARTHA MALISSA, DANIEL CARSON, IDA MAY, ADELINE, CAROLINE, AND FRANCIS DAVID.
I THINK THAT WE ARE CONNECTING THE SAME FAMILY. WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE WITH YOU.

I'm sure we have the same family. William Benson was born abt 1770 in England. He married Clarissa Ball(born 1804 in Md)Dec.22, 1821 in Frederick Co., Md. Clarissa was the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Carroll)Ball. I don't have anything more on William Benson. I'm down the line of their son, Daniel R. He married Sarah Ann Linard. They lived in Belmont County, Oh. Clarissa Benson is buried beside Daniel and Sarah at Pleasant Ridge Cemetary in Belmont County, Oh. If you're interested I have a little more info on each of the siblings. Vatchel was killed in the Civil War. Sister, Elizabeth married Yost Linard (brother of Sarah Linard Benson). Martha: I saw your message about Daniel R. Benson and Sarah Ann Linard. I have been looking for information on this for months.
