hi, I'm looking for information on Nancy Vaughn b. btw 1790-1800. She was married to Obadiah Vaughn,(they were cousins)same surnames) she d. about 1846 in Miller co. MO. she is believed to have been born either in KY or VA. she and Obadiah had 12 children, some of whome moved to north west AR. children are:
Stephen;Elisha;Phoebe;Sarah;Rebecca;William ;John;Elizabeth;Odadiah jr; Reuben;Benjamin;Irene.

I have a Nancy Vaughn b. 9 May 1802. Daughter of Charles Vaughn and Elizabeth Morgan. Tell me more about Obadiah marrying his cousin? Who was your Nancy's father? I do not have a locality, but probably Washington co, NY as Charles was there in 1800; by 1807 he was in Elizabethtown, Leeds,Ontario, Canada; by 1818 - 1820 he had moved to Conneaut, Erie, PA; later to Elk Creek, Erie, PA and finally to Girard, Erie, PA. Charles father unknown, but possible connection to Obadiah. I do not have spouse of Nancy. Would like more info on your Nancy.

I wish I had more information to give, that is kinda why I am so stuck. I doesn't sound like we have the same nancy Vaughns. My Nancy is believed to have been born in either KY or VA . She was B btw 1790-1800 and d. Jan. 1846 in Miller Co MO. She Married Obediah Vaughn abt 1816 poss. in KY. Obediah and Nancy are believed to have been cousins before they were married. Other than their childrens names, that is all the information I have. I am looking for her parents or Obediah's parents.

Hello, I found your inquiry on Nancy Vaughn on the Vaughn Family message board. I am also a descendant of this marriage of Obediah Vaughn and Nancy (Vaughn?)who lived in Miller County, MO. I have he was born 1790, Bedford, VA and died about 1843 in Miller County, MO. Same for Nancy, except she died abt 1846 in Miller Co., MO. I have not found any cemetery records or obits on them however. They were supposedly married about 1816 in Kentucky, but they do not show up on the Barren County or surrounding counties in KY for that time period. My ancestor is their daughter, REbecca Vaughn, born 1822 in Missouri. Obediah Vaughn's father is also named Obediah Vaughn, born 1768 in Bedford , VA married to Elizabeth Edwards Nov 6 1788.
