Philander Married Lydia Lois Baldwin in 1854. Moved to Iowa in 1857 thru 1892 when they moved to Wyoming. Children included: Rudolph Sidney 1854; Flora Izola 1856; Lucida Stella 1856; George Isaac 1864; Edna Calista 1865; Edwin Clifford; Lucy Janette 1869; Alton Philander 1871; Mary Susanna 1873;Fred Roy 1875; Harry Miner 1877. The eldest son was my Great Grandfather that married 3 times. I have more dates of deaths of some of these relatives. Please e-mail if you have more information of this family.

S. Burrack, My great grandfather was Vinson Deloss Vaughn who was the brother of Philander Vaughn. I have very little information regarding the Vaughn family. I would be happy if you could share the dates you have with me. My grandmother was married to George James Vaughn. My great great grandparents were Philander and Lydia Lois Baldwin. My great grandmother was Flora Izola Vaughn who was married to Edward Romaine Babcock. My Great Grandparents were Philander and Lydia Lois Vaughn. My Grandfather was Harry Vaughn, their youngest child. He was born in 1877 and died in 1950.
He moved to a farm in Hartford, Kansas in1906. Raised 4 sons and 1 daughter.

Lydia and Philander are buried in the Wyoming, Iowa cemetery along with Philanders father, George 1794-1854 and his mother, Polly 1796-1873. Lydia's parents, Issac and Susan Baldwin, are also buried there.

I would love to see a picture of Lydia's cross stich sampler.
