I am looking for any information (personal or the correct genealogical pedigree) on Thomas Wiggin (also referred to as Capt. Wiggin) who is the GGS of
Captain Thomas Wiggin and Catherine Whiting. One genealogy puts him as the fourth Thomas Wiggin and another has him as the son of Bradstreet Wiggin
the first. He was married to Sarah Piper and died on the eve of American Independence, March 23, 1776. Any personal info on him (such as military service,
wills, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. By the way, is there an ancestral book for Captain Thomas Wiggin the first??

Your best source on the Wiggin family is the compilation by Arthur C. Wiggin, Agnes P. Bartlett and Alexander Lincoln done for the Library of the New Hampshire Historical Society. You can get a film of it through the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake, order through your local Family History Center. You'll find Thomas IV and all the rest in there.

I am 11th decendant of Capt. Thomas Wigan (Wiggin) from Wigan in Lancashire on River Douglass. Married Katherine, son Thomas junior, daughter Mary. Arrived on Arbella 1630 in Salem MA. Dued 1667. Have tree of all 11 generations.
