I'm looking for descendants of Peter and Christine Wilson who first appear on the 1860 census living at Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Their children were Elizabeth, Charles, Peter, David, Isabella, Agnes and Christina. Peter was a coal miner and both he, Christine and Elizabeth were born in Scotland. They immigrated on the ship "Erin's Queen" in 1848 and lived in St. Louis, Missouri at least until 1850 where they appear on the 1850 census. Charles was born in Missouri and all the other children were born in Pennsylvania

... and ask to speak to someone in their historical and archives section and hopefully they can put you in contact with a lady who is specifically researching the one L-ed Wilsons from that time and region. They have an abundance of information. I am a 2 L-ed Willson decendent and found actual graves of my g-g-g-g grandparents and other relatives. I also found another decendent, 4th cousin type thing who realized that her one L Wilsons were originally also 2 L-ed. Keep it in mind.

If they don't help you, but I am positive they will then post back and I can pull all my stuff out again and find the ladies phone number - it'll just take some digging though.
