My father's name is Leon Wilson from Carlisle, SC. His father Maceo Wilson left him and his sister Betty when they were young. My father Leon was born in 1945. The only document we have from Maceo is his marriage certificate to my grandmother Beatrice Jeter. On the certificate it says Maceo Wilson was born in Weleetka, OK and his father's name was Jim Albert Wilson. Maceo's mother was named Elizabeth Reece. It also stated that Maceo Wilson lived in Kansas City, KS for a while. The last we know is that Maceo Wilson was in the US Navy as a cook and served during WWII. I can't find anything on him and my father said he heard that his father died in the 1960s in Oklahoma. We don't know how true that is but any help would be appreciated.
