I am trying to find the parents of my grand-father, Louis Hivon, he was born jan 28,1858
married Aurelie Tetu, june 25 1881, in St-
Hyacinthe cathedrale, he died in Granby Qc
in 1932, any infomations regarding Hivon, Yvon, Hyvon or Ivon is welcome

Hello I'm also researching the HIVON YVON line, My great grandmother was Louise Estell Hivon Yvon b:Mar 17, 1850 her father was Augustin Yvon b:1802 in St-Hyacinthe, QC d:Aug 23, 1856 in St-Hyacinthe, QC his father was Louis Hivon Yvon b:Dec 1, 1764 m:Marguerite Avarre. I also have the rest of this line, If any of this is in your database let me know maybe we could share info. My paternal grandparents: Felix Joseph Fontaine & Marie Alphonsine Côté. My maternal grandparents: Pierre Mercier & Melvina Bertrand. Hello Roger,
I saw your post and I am not sure if you are trying to go back further then Louis Phlem b. December 1, 1764.
He was the son of Louis Phlem (one of Yves Phlem's sons)
b. January 25, 1738 in Ste Anne de la Perade, New France. He married Marie-Anne Robert-St-Amant on October 10, 1763. This particular Louis Phlem only had two children that I have recorded and the only son as well.
Is this the data you were looking for?
My end of the Phlem/Hivon/Evon is in Ontario and River Raisin (Monroe) Michigan.
Please let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Yes I could use some info on Louis Phlem b:January 24, 1737/38 & Marie-Anne Robert-St-Amant I don't have ther Children, Or the parents of Marie-Anne Robert-St-Amant.

Louis PHLEM dit YVON (Yves & Marie L'HEROS) was born Jan 24 1738 at La Perade, QC. He married Marie Anne ROBERT dit ST-AMAND (Jean Baptiste & Marie Louise RICARD dit RICHARD) on Oct 10 1763 at La Perade. They had 3 children who married before 1800:
f 1795-10-05 MARIE ANNE, ST-HYACINTHE PHILIPPE POIRIAU
m 1797-02-20 LOUIS, ST-OURS MARGUERITE AVARE
f 1799-11-18 ANGELIQUE, ST-HYACINTHE JEAN LOUIS HAMEL

Hi Cindi, Did your Evons have family in Saginaw, MI? I have a few Joseph Henri Evons there, all related, and am trying to find out where they came from before that. I suspect Monroe.

Hi Candi. I also come from the River Raisin branch of the family. Joseph Hivon/ Charles Hivon / Samuel Hivon (Eavou)/ Joseph Evou. I am looking for others from Joseph, Charles or Samuel in order to fill some missing holes. Samuels children, as they moved from Monroe spelled their names differently.
