Ullom. Best educated guess after much research is that father of jacob was jacob sr,immigrating ancestor born in Karlsruhe,
Germany and he settled in Lancaster Co. PA
Jacob jr wife was Magdalene Balser or Beshore
I have copy of Jacob jr will dated 13 apr 1778.

Sorry, I used the familiar Ullom in my
correspondence actually records are Woolam.
I have family group sheet for his wife as
a child(Johann George Bashaar of Pfalz,
Bavaria and Mary Elizabeth Weinerich,parents)

Just found out my greatgrandmother was Zola Ullom. Married to John Ready. About 1870.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello cousin my fathers name is Dillard Fahey son of William and Bessie (Ready) Fahey.Bessie is one of 6 children of John and Zola Ready, the others would be 1 adopted boy named Ted and 4 other girls Grace, Lula, Ruby and Vearl. I noticed you have info on this family. I believe I may be related too I have found out that possibly John Henderson Ullom born 6-28-1859 in Wetzel County W.V. is a son of Lorenzo Dow Ullom, son of Stephan Ullom, who was a son of Peter Ullom,a son of Jacob Wollam.I just found the info on my GGGGrandfather in my GGGgrandmothers bible, I hope you can help on this

My Info was wrong as I found out that the names were misread It sould be John Marshall Ready and Zura M (Ullom) Ready. Sorry for the mixup.

I would like very much to share information on
Jacob Wollam, by the way his son Peter changed
the name to Ullom in the 1700's when he bought
land. That is in a book titled Ten Mile Country and
