Help! I'm looking for information on my paternal grandparents. The informtion I was given concerning my grandparents are: (a) he was of Africian descend; (b) worked on a sugar planation driving a truck; (c) died in 1941 from an accident while on the job. Information on my paternal grandmother: (a) she was part Filipino; (b) died in 1927 given birth to my mother. Information on my mother: (a) Emetria/Emeteria Rosario, was an only child; (b) DOB: March 1927 in either Bayamon or Santurce, Puerto Rico; (c) was being raised by her father until his death in 1941; (d) was send to live with an aunt/great aunt in New York in 1941.

HELLO I don't think we are related, but just wanted to share with you how your story seems to sound like my search for my Africian Tianio Ancestys. I have learned that family born in P.R. just about anywhere on the Islands were brought there for i guess good reasons. Yet the Natives were the already as were other's before them. OK Slavery was REAL, and our great grandparents were in that mix!!!!

They all tried so hard to stay into they on culture I call it. My Great grandmother did many of thing that today aren't visabial. I was just entering jr high school when she passed. She was born 1896, she was the darkest person i can say i ever really knew. I love her so much, her smell, her cooking, and pretty face. While know were are all in this together, I can't wait to see all our photo's of our loved ones for whom we are here, when you ever go to a GOV. office look at the photos of the history, this is how the world was built, and gods children mix with all because we are only ones under the SON.
