My X husband is kin to John Wesley Hardin /Harden, his name is Richard " Dick " Harden, he lives in Pima, Arzona. I have a book on John Wesley's life that was said he wrote it himself..

Had a family friend named Arb Hardin from Telephone texas. Claimed to be great nephew of John Wesley. Had pictures I saw once when I was abouit 15. Arb is dead, buried at telephone texas. Has son named Max Hardin, I believe lives in florida. Max would be in his sixties. Arb's wife Jewel is also buried at Telephone. Arb was arrested in Oklahoma one time for pouring a sack full of rattlesnakes out on a honkytonk dance floor. My grand father went to Durant ok. to bail him out of jail. Arb was a commercial fisherman on the Red river from Bonham all the way down river to Paris, Tx. I think he also did some whiskey runnin. He was about same age as my grandfather who was born in 1896.

i'm a blood relative to john wesley harden. a great nephew x's 4 or 5. i have civil war dischare papers of him. my great aunt thelma delite hardin tells what she can remember her father telling her when she was little.i've been told john wanted to hideout at the harden ranch until things blew over. but my great great grandfather would not allow a crazy wild man any where his family. taylor , nebraska.

Our family is supposed to be related to John Wesley, but in what way I do not know. My great grandfather was an Adlai Hardin, who had married a Dixie Jones. That would have had to have been in the last 1800's. Do any of those names ring any bells????
