Looking for info on moses lee who was born ca. 1770 d.ca.1830-1840 ind. He had a son Abraham b. 9-9-1806,wed 1st catherine walling in Ind.. Thanks

I am related to Moses Lee through his son Abraham. Abraham married Katherine Walling and together they had nine children. Elisha b. 2/28/1829 (my g.g.grandfather), Moses b. 12/10/1830, Andrew Jackson b. 1/1/1833, Enoch b. 12/24/1834, Reed Walling b. 5/10/1836, Sarah H. b. 10/5/1840, James M. b. 11/15/1841, Mary Elizabeth b. 11/16/1844, and Daniel Boone b. 9/20/1846. My information comes from Abraham Lee Family Bible, Cemetery Records, Marriage records and the Guthrie Family Bible.

my husband is also descended from elisha lee and his son william marshall lee and his son harry lee and his daughter lillian lee who is my husbands mother. since abraham ,the family at least some of which has stayed in lawrence co. ind.which is where we live so that gives me close acsess to some info. where do you live if you dont mind me asking ? maybe there is info to share. i have not seen any thing from the abraham lee bible, that would be interesting. hope to hear from you . jennifer

The information that I have came from Mrs. Bernice S. Martin, Box 58A apt. 1, Medora, Indiana 47260. She is the person who generated the copies that I have which I got from my mother. Her father was Frederick Lee son of Moses Benton Lee, son of Elisha Lee who of course is the son of Abraham. She obtain her information from the Abraham Lee family bible, cemetery records, civil waar papers, the Guthrie family bible and marriage records of Lawrence co and the US. Census records. I don't know if she is still living or even how old she is good luck and keep in touch.

were any of these Lee's that were given to you from WVa or Pa ? I have some info but only goes as far back as William Lee born 1824, in Pa. Just curious. Any help would be great. Maybe I have something you could use. I hope to hear from you.
