IRENE BANUELOS DAUGHTHER OF JORGE AND ZENAIDA BANUELOS.

JORGE IS A SON OF MAURISIO BANUELOS WHO FATHERED 22 CHILDREN. HALF OF THE CHILDS ARE LAST NAMED MARTINEZ, THE OTHER HALF BANUELOS. REASON BEING IS CAUSE THE MARTINEZ CAME FROM THE FIRST WIFE. THE OTHER CHILDREN WITH THE LAST NAME BANUELOS ARE IN TEXAS, AND FLORIDA. THEY ARE MORE BANUELOS THEN WE THINK. AND MOST OF THEM ARE PART OF YOU AND ME. ESPECIALLY CAUSE OF MY GRANDPA HAVING SO MANY KIDS. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE FAMILY ENDS NOR STARTS..

Just came across your inquiry. My paternal grandfather was Irineo Banuelos, who was born in Zacatecas, Mx. His father's last name was Garcia and his mother's last name was Banuelos. We don't know his parents' first names, but they owned and operated a soap factory in Zacatecas. Irineo had one brother, Porfirio. They both came to the U.S. around the mid 1910s and settled in El Paso, Tx., although Porfirio later moved to Los Angeles, Ca.

There are a lot of Bañuelos in Zacatecas and Jalisco. My family comes from there. There even is a fountain in Zacatecas, Zac., Mx. with the Bañuelos surname (along with other 3 families) which founded that city.

By the way, there's a hero from the Mexican Revolution in Cerro de la Bufa, also in Zacatecas. I think he was my grandfather's (Salvador Bañuelos Huertado) uncle. His name was Felix Bañuelos.

Hello,
My last name isn't Banuelos but my mother's side of the family is. Her father is Henry Banuelos. His parents were Cecilo Banuelos and Lucy Medina from Zacatecas. Any relation? I would like to find out more if so.

Thanks

My grandfather Benito's last name was Banuelos and he claims to have been born some where in Mexico (Zacatecas I believe) in 1899, although records show he was born in 1901. My grandfather claimed this was so because his parents did not have the means to travel to the city to register for a birth certificate. I do not have any information on his family history or ancestory besides his immediate family which does not go past his own children. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I will try to gather more family info in order to help others determine how I might be related in any way.
