Mount Hope Cemetery

I am still on my quest to locate Sarah Louise Barrett. Since they moved to Clyde from Michigan in early 1870's and I found her husband, Royal buried in Rooks Co with a different wife, I'm thinking Sarah is still in Cloud Co. Mt. Hope Cemetery seems like a good bet for someone dying around 1872-1874. Does anyone know if there are any transcriptions of this cemetery anywhere, or anyone willing to do a lookup? Where are the records for the cemetery held? Any info would be terrific. Thanks
Robin

Yep, that is what I have. I'm just trying to discover where mama (Sarah Louisa aka Sarah or Louisa) "disappeared. Somewhere between Michigan, Cloud, Rooks. One of these days!
Thx.

Dale,
What are the newspaper sources for the area? I am thinking it's a possibility the Benjamin Barrett in Miltonvale could be a brother of Royal Barrett and perhaps a reason Royal and Sarah came to Cloud Co. Perhaps an obit or other info might reveal something. It's a straw worth grabbing. You never know. I'll play around with it.

Robin,
Here is the whole entry for the source code BLA:

BLA A primary source will have been one of several early Concordia Newspapers - Blade Empire and others. These have been read by Mildred Barber of Concordia, KS, and placed in alphabetical card files available in the Cloud County Museum, Concordia, KS.

A few years ago I was able to get a copy of a funeral home record on my 2gr-grandfather from (I think) Cloud County Public Library, if you do a google search for the library and contact them they might be able to help. I am from Arkansaw, WI.

Robin,

Taking a closer look at the book it gives the name of a library in Concordia, if I'm not mistaken it is the one I contacted a few years ago. Frank Carlson Libray, Concordia, KS.
