I am researching the descendants of the Hawbottom Johnson Family Cemetery.
I am looking for information on Frederick ECCARD Born Circa 1818 in Wolfsville, MD. Died 5 Jan 1892 in Kessler, Miami Co., OH. Occupation Laborer. Religion United Brethren, and his first wife, Elizabeth JOHNSON. Born 1 Dec 1830 in MD. Died 26 Mar 1865. Buried in Grossnickle Brethren, Ellerton, Frederick County, MD. They married 27 Nov 1846 in Frederick County, MD. Frederick's 2nd wife was Sarah Ann Rice.
WHO ARE ELIZABETH'S PARENTS? Did they have more children???

Frederick's Obit in Valley Register, 22 Jan 1892 He was survived by his widow and 14 children I have entered Frederick as a brother of Noah Eccard based on they are living several doors from each in 1850 census, their religion, birth dates and the fact that Frederick married a Johnson and Noah md a Hawbottom descendant. However, it is NOT certain that Frederick is a son of Peter & Catherine Ambrose Eccard as Noah is.
In the 26 Mar 1886 edition of the Valley Register, Miss Sallie Eccard went to Troy, OH to visit her parents for 6 mo. to 1 year.

In the 1850 census a Martha Johnson, age 11, is living with this couple.3

Elizabeth Johnson was born on December 1, 1830, as stated in your (Edie's) query. On January 1, 1832, she, her sister, Jane Rebecca, her brother, Joseph Isaiah, respectively, 13 months old, 5 years old, and 3 years old, were baptized at St. John's Church, Frederick County, MD. Also baptized on that day in St. John's Church were Robert and Charles Johnson, sons of John Knight & Sarah (Joy) Johnson, also residents of Frederick County, MD.

I believe Elizabeth's mother to be Sarah Ann (Johnson) Johnson, daughter of Joseph Johnson of Joseph. Sarah Ann's husband, and Elizabeth's father, is Absalom Johnson.

Elizabeth's siblings yet to be born at the time of the baptism are Mary Johnson, born in 1832, Ann Catherine Johnson, born in 1837, Martha Johnson, born in 1839, Martin Van Buren Johnson, born in 1841, George Washington Johnson, born in 1843, and Richard Johnson, born in 1853.

Documentation for the baptisms may be found in the church records, but also may be reviewed in Margaret Myers' articles about St. John's baptisms in "Western Maryland Genealogy," a Frederick County, MD, publication.

Yes, I have Gideon Eccard 1850-1915 and Mary Alice Drake 1859-1915 who died of poisoning, an apparent suicide pact. Are these your family?
