I have extensive information about the Farlow line dating back to 940 in Mercia, England, up to my line today. I have been to Farlow, England, in Shropshire twice, and have information gathered from a Farlow family there. My first American ancestor was Thomas Farlow, wife Jane, who came to America in 1623. I have myself traced back to this Thomas and back four generations from him. I am still working on the connectionfrom them which goes back to 940. I will share information.

Do you have Abby Jan Farlow in your line?

My father and grandfather were named James Farlow, as is my half-brother. My mother married two Farlow brothers, so even my half-brother and I have the same DNA. I am very interested in the information you have on the Farlow family.

My 3rd great grandparents were Thomas William Dunbar and Annabelle (Farlow) Dunbar. Annabelle was born 1819 in Monaghan County and died 1885, place unknown. Annabelle had a sister, Mary who married William Montgomery on July 23, 1844 in Barony Parish, Lanark, Scotland. I do not have a birth year on Mary. Mary and William and two of Mary and Annabelle's brothers came to America in 1845-1850. Annabelle and Thomas did not come to America. They eventually settled near Dunbarton, Scotland during their later years. I am very interested to obtain information on the FARLOW family of Mary and Annabelle. Any other information would be welcomed, also.

I notice you have traced your FARLOW family back to 940. I desperately need help !

My g/g/g/gf, William Farlow, married an Alicia ? They had two children, Elizabeth (my g/g/g/m) and George.

William who joined the 21st Regiment was sent to Hobart, Tasmania (Australia) with his wife and two children. He was a Sergeant/Schoolmaster at the time. Two further children bere born there, George and William Edward.

The regiment was later sent to Calcutta in 1837 where 5 other children were born.

I have no further details and wonder if you may have researched this family.
