Due to the states you listed , I think this is the same family as mine.
George Maston born about 1856 Nebraska
son of:
William Maston born 1810 Penn and died Nebraska

Sarah Bethel born 1819 Coshocton, OH
died ?

George was an older brother of my great grandfather, Seth Maston

John Maston 1815 born in Penn. is probably the son of Peter Maston born abt.1760- 1770 NY
and Mary Ann ? born abt. 1781 in Penn

I noticed your post. I too descend from the Maston line... William is thought to be actually the elder son of Abraham, who was the son of Peter Maston. William is mentioned as a son in Abraham Maston's will... Abraham was born 1779 in Pennsylvania.

My line, Henry Clay Masten, moved to IL... Henry was born in Coshocton County, OH...

Would love to exchange information with you

The George F Maston in your post was actually married twice. in 1880 is seen in Big Creek, Neosho, Kansas and With wife - Fidelia A. Maston 24, children Geo. H. Maston 7,H. W. Maston 3 and Lauren Maston. Once again, the loss of
1890 census makes it hard following this family... as the next census 1900 shows him married to Minnie. I have been unable to trace his wife and children that are listed in the 1880 census. The 1910 census confirms that the present mmarriage is his second. But the wife and children from his first marriage seem to just disappear.

That said, George s/o William Maston (who was born in PA, and moved to Nebraska in approx. 1870 with his children - most of which who were born while the Maston family was living in Coshocton County OH) appears to be connect to my Maston line from Coshocton County OH.

Would love to learn more about your line... blueabyss@sbcglobal.net
