Juanita, can you provide any dates (or at least a time frame)? And can you narrow down what you want to learn? I find many, many census and newspaper matches on the BOGH surname in Plymouth County, Iowa, and can't begin to look at every match in every database.

A Paul BOGH family shows up in Emmet County IA in the 1885 census:

Paul P. Bogh 34 M Denmark M Denmark
Elizabeth C. Bogh 36 F Denmark M Denmark
Peter P. Bogh 12 M Jackson S Denmark
Johannes P. Bogh 9 M Clinton S Denmark
Christian P. Bogh 7 M Clinton S Denmark
Secelia M. Bogh 2 F Emmet S Denmark
Ellen P. Bogh 0 F Emmet S Denmark

Marius was living in Fredonia, Plymouth County, in 1930 census.

This is fun. Juanita is my cousin and this is some of the things I learned here and there. My great gandfather was Paul Peterson Bogh born May 9,1850,Denmark, and brothers Peter,Nis,Marius,Jorgen.Paul,Marius Jorgen all went to Iowa
Paul married Maren Dahl in 1871 she died in 1879 and he remarried Elizabeth KLing Greggerson. My Grandfather was Christian his brothers Peter and Joseph all of the first marriage. And we sure go on from there.

Surnames: Bogh, Bosley
Ellen P. Bogh, of the Bogh family discussed in this thread was my grandmother. She married Albert Bosley and had 10 children--my dad, Ray, was one of them. He was born in Emmet County, IA, in a town that no longer exists--Gridley (spelling?)

Ellen and some of her siblings ended up in Ohio, and the families are still here. All of these Bogh siblings middle name was Pedersen (spellings appear differently in different documents).
There were more children than shown in one of the earlier entries. Katie and Christina come to mind. They lived their entire lives in Iowa. I think they both passed away in the 1970s. My dad used to travel back to Iowa to visit all of the relatives there.

I don't have my records and photo albums handy to check all of the names. Some of the records get confusing because of the frequent use of some names in the family, such as Marius.
