My grandmother was Margaret Hostetler from Twilight Boro., Charleroi, Pa.(Near Pitt.). Is she the same family that you are looking for. Many of her family lived on the "Hollow
Road" in Twilight. I think everyone was family there at one time. E-mail me and let me know. She married an Abraham Berton, and lived in Twilight (Charleroi, Pa.)
Thanks

Hi Ann,

My mother's side of my family descends from John Hochstetler, brother of the same Christian and Joseph Hochstetler, that were captured by Indians in 1757 during a massacre on the family home.

John apparently had been married and out of the house and watched the massacre from his house; however, he felt helpless to stop what was going on. This is according the the book "Descendant of Jacob Hockstetler", by Harvey Hochstetler, 1912, which my mother has a copy of.
