hello, i am getting very frustrated with my tree, and hope someone can help me. I get about 3 generations into my tree and the wife of, has a next generation arrow next to her name, but the husband whom i branched off on for many generations doesnt have one, which looks as though there is nothing to follow. NOW, if i click on him and make hime the main person, all the info then shows up????
Can anyone explain
Frustrated and confused in Adelaide

I assume that your are referring to your Griffiths tree?

I think you need to double check all of the entries in your tree? It looks to me as if your problem is coming from some bad relationships between people in the tree and this would produces the problems you are encountering.
For example, if you look at Ellen Franklin (b. 1858), she appears twice, once as the daughter of Charlotte Roberts and once as the *son* of Esther Sermon? Also you appear to have Charles Franklin (b. 1852) entered twice.

In fact, there are quite a few people entered twice in your tree. If you chose "List of all people" towards the top-right of your screen you should be able to see which people have more than one entry. You might want to print that list out for reference? You will then have to decide *carefully* which of the entries are duplicates and delete them, making sure you don't loose any attached 'events' in the process.

thank you for your help, i noticed that some of the people were duplicated. i made the mistake earlier on of adding via the little leaves and did not realise that happened. As for the mistake with Ellen Franklin, well i never would have noticed that..i have looked and pondered for weeks and could not for the life of me figure out where the error was occuring.I shall look at those points thank you very much
