Ships from Ireland-Incorrectly listed

Surnames: Reynold,
While searching for Charles Reynolds who arrived at the port of New York from Ireland on March 14th 1909, I wanted to look at original manifest. I discovered I wasn't looking at the Columbia manifest as stated, but the S.S. New York. What I discovered was that the Microfilm serial, and the Microfilm roll was incorrect. Ancestry had the Microfilm serial no. listed was T715. It should be T621. The Microfilm Roll was listed as T715-1215 when it should have been T621-589. So if your looking for a manifest and can't find it, make sure the info listed is correct.

I tried to re-create this error, but could not.

When you use ancestry.com to search for Charles Reynolds, indeed, you do not get the Columbia manifest, but the manifest for Principe di Piemonte.

However both manifests are on Roll T715-1215. They arrived a day apart and the Principe di Piemonte is in Volume 2675 and the Columbia in Volume 2676.

There is no way that a manifest would be found in Series T621, as that series contains soundexed indices T621-589 contains R543 through R552.

Thanks so much for answering. Because I'm rather slow at times what you're saying is that you went into Charles Reynold, who arrived 14 Mar. 1909 and departed from Londonderry on the Columbia and had no trouble seeing the manifest. If you could only see the Prencipe di Piemonte and not the Columbia, please tell me how I get into the manifest of the Columbia.I should know this, but don't. Thanks for your help.
