Hi

I have located an ancestor, Mary McGraw, who immigrated to USA from Scotland aboard the SS Ethiopia arriving ellis island 23 Dec 1904. I can read most of the original ship manifest text however the final destination of New York has been scored out and a new destination added which I can't make out the destination is followed by either NY or NJ. The destination is repeated in the column 'whether going to join a relative or friend' against the name & address of Mary's employer mrs w ward 116 University Ave. ???? then it looks like NY or NJ. I have been unable to locate mary in any census and if I knew the final destination this might help. Can anyone help?
