Recorded in Book 50 at page 61 of the deed records of Mason County, KY

July 12, 1841

"...I, Everett Stillwell of Mason County, Kentucky, do by these presents emancipate and set free my negro man slave named William Ball...Said slave, William Ball, is about 27 years of age, five feet eight inches high, yellow complexion."

Do you have any additional info on this slave. I am trying to track down William B Ball (Born in Danville, KY between 1839-1844). He is listed as mulatto but also grew up on his father's farm. I am wondering if this may have been his father who was emancipated.
