He was my great-grandfather. Son of Mahlon & Elizabeth Jones in Nashville TN. He was a baker by trade. He was married twice although I have yet to find info on the first marriage. He ended up marrying Martha A Johns, Gregory, Stinson in Simpson County KY in 1892. My grandfather was born there. They returned to Nashville and he died there in 1899. He is buried in Mt. Olivet. Looking for info on where he worked and first marriage.
