Hi,
My name is Angela Dixon and I live in Dalton, GA. I was told that we are the Moravian Dixons, but I can't find the proof. The furthest I can trace back is Alfred Dixon, married to Elisabeth Dixon. Alfred Dixon's approx. birth year would be 1801, but the 1850 Bradley County Tennesse census is the ONLY record I can find him listed on. Alfred Dixon is said to have been born in North Carolina. How can I find out who Alfred Dixon's father was. I need help. I don't know where Alfred is buried or what year he died either. I appreciate any help I can get, so please send me an email rather than post on the message board if you will.
